  Ah Miami.

  The glittering sun kissed beaches, inspiring and exotic foods from around the world, and of course the never ending parties. Sound familiar?

Miami is a city that should experience from the fabulous viewpoints it has to offer.

Flying into Miami can be fairly inexpensive from the northeast as well as from the west coast.

Public transportation is not as popular or well spread out around the city and if Uber or LYft are not an option for you one of these fabulous hotels will no doubt have car service recommendations available to you.

.Where You Should Stay

  The Carillon Wellness Resrt and Spa in North Miami Beach is an absolute must stay. I t is not in the busiest part of SoBe(South Beach) but it is only a 20 minute car ride to the famous area with traffic. 

Dining

  You are guaranteed to have no shortage of amazing places to go and people to meet in Miami, but if you do choose to stay in for a meal. There are four options to eat onsite including in room dining and a café delivering your meals to your cabana on the resort’s 700+ foot long beach.

The Apartment

  Although we did not book an ocean front apartment, we absolutely received the magical turquoise blue Miami view from our living and bedroom windows and it was enchanting.

  The rooms are all at least one bedroom villas with full kitchens accompanied by sprawling bathrooms including a spacious stand alone shower, bath, and, of course, a separate lavatory for privacy.

  Have no fear there is more than enough counter space in the bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised when my friend made the announcement that we would each have room to do our hair and makeup separately.

  A win, if you ask me.

  If you celebrating a special occasion be sure to let the reservation specialist know when booking. I recieved a complimentary bottle of champaign and a hand written note to help me celebrate my birthday.

SPA

  My favorite part of any resort or luxury hotel, the spa. 

  This two story plus terrace pool and bar overlooking the resort and ocean is absolutely stunning.

  It boasts a separate mens and womens changing room and a hydrotherapy circuit that will easily keep you busy all day long.

 In true Forbes Five Star fashion, the spa attendings guide you in after you have filled out intake forms and had a glass of champeign at the reservations desk for your detailed tour of the spa, including the upstairs quiet room where you relax in the zero gravity recliners prior to your service provider retrieving you for your treatment.

  This is no run of the mill spa, they offer wellness treatments as well as massages and facials. 

  Cupping, energy work, hot stone massages, salt floats, various cryo therapies, and even a doctor providing acupuncture. Just to name a few.

  The Carillon is wellness for the soul personified.
